Coéo Syrah

Coéo is Latin. It means “to come together”, “to assemble” or “to form an alliance”. The AlmaTerra Coéo (pronounced co-ay-o) Syrah is a blend of our three single-vineyard wines: 47% from Ciel du Cheval Vineyard in the Red Mountain AVA, 28% from Coyote Canyon Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and 25% from the Minick Vineyard in the Yakima Valley AVA. Savor the complexity and nuance of our terroir-inspired Syrah wines.

Coéo Viognier

This year, as a preview of the single-vineyard Viognier wines we will release in 2010, we offer a 2007 AlmaTerra Coéo Viognier that is a blend of three single-vineyard Viognier wines: 44% from the Yakima Valley AVA’s Upland Vineyard (now within the state’s newest AVA,the Snipes Mountain AVA), 39% is from Coyote Canyon Vineyard in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA and 17% is from Chukar Ridge Vineyard in the Columbia Gorge area of the Columbia Valley AVA. Enjoy the harmony and beauty of our assembláge of terroirinspired Viognier wines.

What you taste in each of these wines is our Coéo of vineyard terroirs…manifestations of the magic, mystery and spirit of the Earth.
